Dear Alta Mesa Families,

A huge thank you to our Alta Mesa Parent Club for hosting Saturday's Fall Carnival!!! We had an amazing time and the turnout was great! All proceeds from that event will go to help Alta Mesa School.

This week is Red Ribbon week! This is a week where we focus on drug awareness and prevention. We have a lot of fun activities planned throughout the week including dress-up days, a door decorating competition, pancake breakfast, and the "principal pie in the face" day. Our dress-up information is below so please check out what each day's attire should be.

Reminder that we are focusing on attendance on Nov. 1st and are offering an Alta Mesa Pancake breakfast for families. We will serving pancakes from 7:40-9:00 for students and their families. Please join and and let's make our attendance as high as we can on Nov. 1st!!

Last, we are going to have another "Movies at the Mesa" on Nov 8th from 5:30-7:00. You can vote for which movie you'd like to watch below the flyer in this newsletter!

Wednesday, Nov 1st - "Follow Your Dreams - Don't Do Drugs" - wear appropriate pajamas to school

Thursday, Nov 2nd - "Don't Get Mixed Up in Drugs" Tacky - Wacky wardrobe - mixed up closes day

Friday, Nov 3rd - "Eagle Pride - Give Drugs the Slide" - wear AM Eagle shirt

Please join us for a pancake breakfast at Alta Mesa. We know it can be challenging for students to want to come to school after a long night of Trick-or-Treating so we want to make it a fun day! Please see the flyer below for details!

We had so much fun on our last Movie At The Mesa that we wanted to plan another movie night! This time we will be watching a Christmas movie! Make sure to vote on a movie below!

This movie night will be scheduled on a Wednesday because students do not have school on Thursday, Nov 9th OR Friday, Nov 10th. This will be a fun way for students to start a long weekend!
