Venture and Key students participated on September 11, 2025 in our Key & Venture Patriot Day Assembly. Our School Board President, Mrs. Marilyn Anderson, attended along with our local Placentia Firefighters and Police Officers. Key student Ezra led us in the Pledge of Allegiance using his communication system, with help from Jayden Palafox. Daniela Saldana, Drew Thompson and Jason Chai from Venture delivered speeches about the importance of 9/11 and our appreciation for our local first responders. The assembly host was Brian Villalva who welcomed everyone to the assembly. Venture choir sang God Bless America with Director, Ms. Carmen Coindreau. Our fifth grade friends from Golden Elementary joined in and attended our assembly. George Key students provided our firefghters and our police officers with thank you notes for their service. Thank you to the teachers, staff and students who did a wonderful job reminding us all of the importance of the day and thanking those who support our community.
