Dear Sedro-Woolley High School students and parents,

Welcome to Week 8 of our 2026-2027 School Year! We are just two 1/2 weeks away from the end of our 1st Quarter--students, you have been working hard to get your grades to the highest possible--KEEP GOING STRONG! At Parent/Teacher Conferences, Monday Nov. 9th, we will have our Quarter 1 Grade Reports ready to provide each student and family.

We are a participating high school for WAGAP (Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program)! For all our students, but especially our Juniors and Seniors, if you maintain a 3.0 G.P.A. and take courses which align for a 4 year-University admittance, you are GUARANTEED admittance for participating Universities (Western Washington, Central Washington, Eastern Washington, Washington State, Evergreen State College, and University of Washington, Tacoma) This is a fantastic opportunity for our students.

Please check out this website for more information: Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program

WAVE TOUR this Thursday--a few more Junior spots are available! Be sure to check in with Ms. Elissa Barker in the library tomorrow (Monday) if interested:

Sedro-Woolley High School is taking a group of students to the WAVE Tour at the fairgrounds in Mount Vernon next Thursday, October 22nd. This is an annual career exploration event and an awesome, hands-on opportunity to learn about the trades and apprenticeships in our region. There will be Electricians, Laborers, Operating Engineers, MITAGS, Sheet Metal Workers, Machinists, and Boat Builders present and several unions represented. The field trip is from 8:30am-1pm next Thursday, October 22nd. As you will be missing class, please be sure you are up-to-date on your work and communicate with teachers regarding missed class.
