Elementary Highlights
Build the Habit of Good Attendance Help your child succeed by prioritizing regular attendance! Missing just two days a month—even in preschool—can make it harder for students to keep up with reading and math. You can support your child by setting a consistent bedtime routine and scheduling appointments outside of school hours.
Important Dates:
Jan 19- No School- Martin Luther King Jr Holiday
Jan 20- Dress Up Day- The Arts vs PE (dress like Miss Georgia, Mr. Taylor, or Mr. Graham)
Jan 22 - End of 1st Semester
Back to School Pics - Fun In the Snow
Weekly Spotlight:
We’re excited to share that Miss Georgia Murcar, our Elementary Music and Art Teacher, recently sang with the EWU Alumni Choir in a special guest performance at St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican on New Year’s Eve. The choir performed traditional Catholic hymns during Mass, along with selections that celebrated American culture. While in Italy, the group also visited Rome, Siena, Florence, and Venice—an unforgettable experience!
Middle & High School Highlights
Attendance & Being Present in January
Dear Reardan Families,
It is so nice to be back in school and to have all of our students with us again! The energy in our classrooms and hallways reminds us how important it is to be together, learning and growing as a school community.
As we begin January, our school-wide focus is Attendance and Being Present. Being at school each day matters—not only for academic success, but also for building strong connections with teachers, classmates, and school activities.
Attendance & Activities Reminder for Athletes and Participants
If students wish to participate in practices, events, or games, they must be in school for the entire school day.
If a student has an appointment, families must call the office and pre-arrange the absence in order for the student to be eligible to participate that day.
We understand that life happens and appointments are sometimes unavoidable. Our goal is clear communication from families so we know why students are missing school.
Please review the January Attendance Incentives outline as a reminder of how we are encouraging and celebrating positive attendance habits this month.

Have a super great week!!
We are launching a new online menu link. The menu will still be available on the schools website and printed by teachers for students to take home. The new online menu is super helpful if you need to know the nutrition facts about an item. It also has the allergens as well. All you need to do is click on the link below. Then type in Reardan. Then select which menu you'd like to see...Breakfast, PK-8th or 9th-12th. Each menu is the same (or close to) 9th-12 grade might have a bit more food for their calorie needs. Once in the selected menu just click on each item.
We are just learning this process, so it is pretty basic right now, however as we learn more there will be pictures of the menu item and clickable items on the side that will contain more information. You will also be able to toggle back to the December menu if needed. And as more menus get published you will be able to toggle to that one as well.
Hope this helps you and your students
