Sunset Principal Notes

We did it—our first full 5-day week is complete! I am so proud of how well everyone has settled into our routines and embraced each day with enthusiasm and joy. Everything is going smoothly, and I am grateful for your continued support. Not really any new information this week!

Wishing you all a wonderful, restful weekend! I look forward to seeing everyone back next week, ready for more learning and fun.

September 30th- Open House (Info Below)

October 13th- No School

October 22nd- Early Dismissal (1:25)

We are excited to announce that our Open House will be held on September 30th! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom and learn more about their daily routines and classroom expectations directly from their teacher.

• K-2nd Grade: 5:30–6:15 PM
• 3rd–5th Grade: 6:30–7:15 PM

Please note, Open House is not intended for individual conferences. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress or have specific concerns, please email your child’s teacher to arrange time to talk.

We kindly request that this be an adult-only event to allow for the best possible experience. However, we understand that childcare can be a challenge for some families. If your child must attend, they should remain with you at all times.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please fill out the form if you think you might qualify. Free/Reduced lunch is not the only benefit. There are many other benefits for both your family and the school. https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/Help
