Academy Announcements
Dear Academy families and friends,
Happy Cinco de Mayo!!! We're all in for the next two months, with loads of different events and activities for students, staff and families alike!
- Lip Sync was amazing! The students and staff agree-we had so many good acts...special thank you to Sharon Ennis and Alicia Lyons for coordinating, all of our parent volunteers, the AAPC, the mystery judges, and of course...the students. They flexed their Star Power up on that beautiful Chapman Stage!!!
- May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Month. On Friday, May 3rd, Weymouth High School teacher Mr. Kai Doo and two members of the Asian Student Alliance visited Academy. In the winter, they ran a children's picture book drive to collect books with diverse Asian characters to add to our library. Special thank you for your donation!
- Thank you again to all of our Walking School Bus participants. We love promoting health and wellness and walking to school with friends is an easy way for the kids to get moving!
- MCAS shifts this week from grade 5 to grades 4 and 3 math exams. Please be sure to charge up those chromebooks, get them to school on time, feed them a solid breakfast (as well as lots of encouragement). They've worked hard all year and going to do great!
- Information Night at Chapman for next year's 6th graders; please click the link here for more info.
- Media Club made it's latest video-check out the button below!!!
- Check out this great video for International Night. It's less than two weeks away!!!
Thanks for all the support!!! Be sure to check the end of the year activities as well as the info buttons below. New events are updated to the list daily!!!
