MCE Memo

November was another busy month at MCE. I hope that your family enjoyed time with friends and loved ones over the Thanksgiving break. I also hope that your families are excited about the upcoming holiday season. It is at the time of year that we reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. I am thankful for your children, I am lucky enough to spend each day with 360 fantastic young people. They make me laugh on a daily basis and watching them learn and grow never ceases to amaze me. Your children are doing great things! Thank you for your continued support. Your help and partnership makes MCE a great place for children and adults.

The next PTO meeting will be held on December 15th at 6:30 pm.

These summer readers were treated to a popsicle but even better, they each found new favorite books and met new characters during their summer reading!

Thank you to all of our Veteran's! We were glad to have over 30 Veteran's join us for breakfast and celebration.

Make plans to join us for the 2nd quarter academic awards. The all-school assembly will begin at 8:20. It's going to be another fun gathering, hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our Academic Bowl team! MCE hosted the Academic Bowl this year. It was attended by approximately 30 parents and special guests. Thanks to Lisa Chisholm and our 4th and 5th grade Academic Teams for a great event, we look forward to next year!

Earl Burton with New York Life donated $500 to our Student Activities Fund. This fund is used for student and teacher activities, assemblies, and events.
