Welcome to a New World!

If you had asked me a year or even six months ago that the entire world as we know it would literally change overnight I would not have believed you.

I am sure that for many of you life is just one big daily dose of "what in world has happened". In the last three weeks you have been thrown a curve ball in education and have changed course beautifully. In this month's newsletter, I just want to share a few nuggets of support, inspiration and resources. I know that you have been inundated with resources, you are trying to play catch up in many ways, trying to figure out how to reach students and continue to teach. Please know that I am here for you as a resource. DO NOT HESITATE to contact me for ANYTHING. I am happy to text, call, Zoom, email, whatever. If I don't know the answer, I will do my best to find it.

More than anything - PLEASE give yourself, your students, your friends, family and co-workers GRACE as we all navigate uncharted waters. I saw a post today that mentioned the advantage and disadvantage of this new world of "emergency online education" is that there is not a rule book. The frustrating part is we feel like we are building the ship as we set sail. The beauty is - WE GET TO CREATE THE RULES.

I hope you stay safe, well and most of all sane. We will get through this stronger.
