Happy Wednesday Cherrydale Families,

This Friday, we proudly celebrate our 100th Day of School—a milestone worth cheering! The first 100 days have been filled with growth, connection, and so many memorable moments. From PTA Recess Takeovers and our high-energy Dance-a-Thon to meaningful Success and Fall Conferences, our school community has shown up in incredible ways to support our students. We’re so proud of all that has been accomplished together and grateful for our families, staff, and PTA who make it all possible. As we look ahead to the next 80 days of school, we can’t wait to see what learning, joy, and success are still to come!

To mark the occasion, students across grade levels have been busy creating special 100 Day projects, showcasing their creativity, problem-solving, and hard work from the past 100 days. These creations are now proudly displayed throughout our school hallways for all to enjoy—be sure to take a look when you visit! Photos of these wonderful projects will be shared next week, so stay tuned for a peek at how our students are celebrating this exciting milestone.

Thank you to our families for your continued partnership and support throughout these first 100 days. Every day of learning is stronger because of our shared commitment to our students, and we’re excited to continue the journey together as we head into the remainder of the school year.

This week, we celebrate National School Counseling Week and the amazing work Mrs. Olson, our school counselor does every day! Mrs. Olson helps students learn how to manage their feelings, build friendships, solve problems, and believe in themselves. From listening with a caring heart to teaching important life skills, she supports students’ social growth, and emotional well-being. We are so thankful for the kindness, guidance, and encouragement she brings to our school community—today and every day!

The PTA is hosting a Movie Night on February 6th for students and families to enjoy together. This event is not a drop-off—students must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. We look forward to a fun evening of community, snacks, and a great movie! RSVP Required
