Parent Observer on Canvas
A great way to keep up with your student's school work is to become a Parent Observer on your student's Canvas page! Please click this link for the set-up guide.
Grades and Missing Assignments
While Canvas is where we typically access and submit assignments, Infinite Campus is where we record grades and missing assignments. Click Here to check on your student's grades and missing assignments.
Chargers and Week-at-a-Glance
Please remind your student to check the Week-at-a-Glance on Canvas for each class and charge those Chromebooks every day after school!
Students should have a charged Chromebook every morning when they arrive at school. If your student has lost their charger, they may purchase a replacement charger from the Media Center.
Cell Phone Policy
Cell phones are OFF and AWAY from 7:30 a.m. - 2:22 p.m.
- Students are expected to follow EPS expectations for cell phone use.
- There is a progressive plan if students are using their cell phone during the school day.
- If cell phone usage becomes habitual, it can lead to a parent or guardian having to picking up their cell phone in the Front Office after school.
ID Badges
ALL students must wear their ID Badge, and it should be visible at all times. Whether it be their school ID on a lanyard OR a temporary ID sticker badge, it MUST be worn.
If a student has lost their ID Badge, please replace it in the front office (it does cost money to replace an ID Badge).
If a student has forgotten their ID Badge, the consequence is last in line at lunch and no Snack Bar.
Students will be charged for an extensive number of temporary badges.
Please be sure to use and wear your school issued ID Badge!
6th Grade Principal
Hello Parents!
It’s Here! The last week of the school year. Monday and Tuesday, students will be taking their finals. This past week they worked on study guides and reviewed key ideas. Want to help your child review? Have them teach you the ideas. If you can teach it, then you know it.
On Wednesday, We will have our final assembly in the morning. After, students will have activities in their classes.
Missing assignments have been turned in and teachers are feverishly grading assignments and projects and entering those grades.
6th grade is a tough year as students gain more independence and grow in their social skills and their abilities to relate with other students. They have made mistakes as we all do and, hopefully they have learned that the only bad mistake is the one you repeat.
Have a great Summer, and thank you for trusting us with your children. Your Children are Our Children, and each of us wants the best for Our Children.

Counselor's Corner
We’ve made it to the final week of school — what a journey this year has been! As we prepare to wrap up the school year and transition into summer break, I want to share a few important reminders and resources with you.
As my regular counseling services will pause for the summer, I encourage families who may need additional support to check out our District Mental Health Resources. These resources are available all summer long to provide supplemental counseling or crisis support if needed.
https://www.edmondschools.net/page/mental-health-resources
In any emergency, please call 988, the national mental health crisis line, available 24/7.
If you still have enrollment forms or paperwork to turn in, please do so as soon as possible. Having everything completed helps ensure a smooth start to the next school year.
I’ll be in the office for a few days after school ends and again a few days before the new school year begins. While I won’t be available daily over the summer, you’re welcome to email me at any time. I’ll check messages periodically and get back to you as I’m able.
Wishing all of you a safe, healthy, and joyful summer. Take time to relax, recharge, and focus on what matters most — family, fun, and sunshine. I encourage you to set simple, meaningful goals both as individuals and as a family. Let this summer be filled with laughter, connection, and great memories.
