This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate and honor our veterans! A big thank you to Mrs. Carson for organizing such a special event and to the families who joined us. We are grateful for the chance to recognize and thank you for your service!

A big thank you to our Applewood families for raising almost $300 for our veteran charity organization! We appreciate your generosity and support. Congratulations to 2nd grade for raising the most money, with 4th grade coming in a close second! Way to go, Applewood!

A big shout-out to Ms. Seamon, our elementary psychologist! We appreciate the care, compassion, and support she provides to our students, families, and staff. She works behind the scenes and alongside our team to help students succeed both academically and socially. Thank you, Ms. Seamon, for all you do for Applewood! ❤️

The transportation department has been busy all summer developing bus routes.

Transportation eligibility is determined by whether your residence is more than 1 mile from the school your child attends. BCSD will continue to use the StopFinder app. Click HERE for Frequently Asked Questions about using the StopFinder App. All routes will be live in StopFinder on August 11, 2026. If you have questions about your child’s transportation, please submit a Transportation Help Ticket. Tickets will be answered as quickly as possible in the order received. Please refrain from submitting more than one help ticket for the same concern.

If you have a Kindergartener or you are new to the district, please submit the Transportation Opt-In Form. For more information about the Transportation Department, please visit the Transportation Department page on the BCSD website.
