Some of our staff participated in a district-wide dress up day. This week's theme was "Twin Day"!

Congratulations to Mallory Henert for earning 9th grade Student of the Week! Her teachers had the following to say about her:

Mallory always does her best on assignments and actively participates in class. She is very helpful and a true pleasure to have in class.

Mallory is a hard worker with great role model.

Mallory is a leader in FFA and has demonstrated achievement in record book. She has shown improvement in her grades and is respectful.

Congratulations, Mallory! We will be recognizing a 10th grader next week.

This summer, the Whiteside Area Career Center will offer a Summer Trades Camp for students. The camp will run from July 12th through July 22nd and involve the Building Trades, Manufacturing and Auto Tech programs. The camp is open to incoming 6th graders through outgoing 8th grade students. AFC will cover the cost of the camp fee and provide transportation for any interested AFC students eligible for the camp. To register your student/s for the camp contact AFC Junior Senior High or Elementary School for registration documents and additional details. • May 12th: Honor's Night, 7 pm
• May 17th: Seniors' Last Day, AM Dismissal
• May 20th: Great America Trip
• May 21st: Commencement Practice (8:30 am)
• May 22nd: Commencement (10 am)

*Please note, coronation and prom have been cancelled due to low student interest.*
