Considerations for Upcoming Inclement Weather Days
Dear A-C Elementary Families,
As we continue to monitor the weather forecast, we want to share how potential school closures may impact the upcoming week. If we experience multiple snow days, the first missed day will be a traditional snow day. Any additional missed days will be Flexible Instructional Days (FID).
On a Flexible Instructional Day, the school day will follow a two-hour delay schedule, beginning at 10:50 AM. Teachers will provide assignments for students to complete throughout the day using packets, videos, Schoology, or Google Classroom.
Teachers will share a Zoom link for office hours and will also be available via email throughout the day. Additional Zoom support can be arranged if needed.
Office Hours by Building
Cleona Elementary

Sincerely,
Mrs. Hoover and Dr. Sypolt
Giant Feeding School Kids Initiative
The Annville-Cleona School District is proud to be a part of the @GIANT Feeding School Kids initiative! From January 1 – March 31, you can round up at the register to support our school district’s efforts working to eliminate childhood hunger.
Through this initiative, the Annville-Cleona School District and other public school districts can use funds to support meal programs to expand food distribution programs, create on-campus food pantries and gardens, supply extra weekend meals, and eliminate outstanding student meal debt.
Join us as we round up to fight hunger within the Annville-Cleona School District!

Kids Heart Challenge
Annville Elementary School families,
It’s almost here! It’s our final week of Kids Heart Challenge! We are having a blast learning how to keep our hearts and minds healthy and happy. I’m so proud of our students and families. Together, our efforts will help to save lives!
There’s still time to help us reach our goal of 50% of our families joining our team. When that happens, our school will earn a $500 gift certificate for physical activity and recess equipment to support the health of our school community.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Sign up HERE and download the free “AHA Schools” app.
2. Raise funds to help kids with special hearts.
3. Complete Finn’s Mission: Complete all 7 steps, learn Hands-Only CPR, and be entered to win two Super Bowl tickets!
Donations are due on 1/29/2026.
Every step in your mission – from learning Hands-Only CPR, to recognizing the warning signs of a stroke, to making or receiving a donation – makes our community safer and helps kids with special hearts.
Gratefully,
Mrs. Rebecca Hoover
Junior Achievement - Need for Volunteers
We need volunteers to present Junior Achievement programs in our classrooms.
For as little as an hour a week (5 visits), you can make a difference in the lives of young people in your community.
JA programs provide essential life skills through hands-on educational activities that focus on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness.
Our programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and real-world applications, enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.

Please RSVP with the number of people attending from each family as space is limited. This is not a drop-off event, students need to be accompanied by an adult.
