Next week is Spirit Week and ASB has fun dress up days to get us ready to head into summer. See the schedule of days and themes in this newsletter. The last day to purchase tickets for the 8th grade dance is on Monday, see the links in the newsletter for information on how to purchase tickets. The last day for 8th grade math tutoring is Thursday, May 14th with Mrs.Baily in Room C-1.

Tuesday night our Core 7 teachers will be hosting the 20% project presentations starting at 5pm. Each class has an assigned time, ask your student what time they are presenting. Wednesday at lunch our counseling team will be hosting a Mental Health Resource Fair in the MPR, encourage your student to come by and check it out. Wednesday night is our AVID standout celebration at Angel Stadium where we are recognizing Anna Hughes as our 8th grade AVID Standout. Thursday night is our final band and choir concert of the year, the band performs at 5pm and the choir goes on at 5:40pm.

We are thrilled to announce that Advanced Art student, Julia, is the winner of our Binder Reminder Cover design contest for the upcoming school year. While there were many impressive entries, Julia’s design stood out as the favorite among both students and staff. Well done, Julia!
