A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Hello Montessori Families!
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of accompanying Susan Starkman to receive the Metropolitan Milwaukee Alliance of Black School Educators (MMABSE) Teacher of the Year Award! Ms. Susan exemplifies the criteria for the award by believing all children can and will learn, continually seeking and engaging in professional growth activities to improve her practice, and by continually making teaching and learning exciting for children. We are so proud of Ms. Susan and so lucky to have her!
We hope you have a lovely Memorial Day weekend with your family!

CLEAR Program Supervisor Opportunity
The Wauwatosa Youth Commission and Wauwatosa Recreation Department are excited to partner on CLEAR — Career Life Exploration And Readiness, an after-school program designed to help high school students explore careers, build financial literacy, develop practical life skills, and prepare for life after high school. We are currently looking for a caring, organized, and engaging supervisor to help lead and support this meaningful program. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with teens, facilitating discussions, and helping young people build confidence as they think about their future. You can view the full job description right HERE.
Red, White and Blue Day
In honor of our country signing the United States Declaration of Independence 250 years ago on July 4, our school will celebrate Red, White & Blue Day on June 4!
Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue as we recognize this important moment in American history. Throughout the week, students will also participate in special patriotic-themed lessons and activities in the library to learn more about the history and significance of Independence Day during library.
