As we prepare for our upcoming Veterans Day Celebration, we would like to honor the brave men and women in our Franklin family who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Behind every uniform is a story of courage, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. We are deeply grateful for those who have answered the call to serve and protect our freedoms, and we would be honored to recognize them during our celebration on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 8:45 a.m.

If you have a family member who is a veteran or currently serving in the military, please take a moment to complete the form below so that we can celebrate and recognize their service:

Our Quarter 1 clubs will end onThursday, October 29, 2026.

Quarter 2 clubs are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 2, 2026, and end on Thursday, December December 17, 2026, for eligible registered students.

Q2 Club Registration opened at 7pm on Friday, October 9, 2026, and closed on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:59pm.

On Friday, October 30, 2026, MYP students are invited to come to school dressed as their favorite childhood storybook character!

To ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone, all costumes must be school-appropriate and follow these guidelines:

No masks or weapons, including costume props.
Clothing may not have rips or tears in the thigh area.
Shorts and skirts must be fingertip length or longer.
All costumes must be appropriate for the school environment.

MYP students are welcome to dress up for the day, but they will not participate in the Storybook Parade.

Students must bring their backpacks, as it will be a regular school day.

MYP students, who are not siblings of K–5 students, may NOT use the Early Release Authorization Form to sign out for dismissal.

We cannot wait to see our MYP students bring their favorite storybook characters

to life and celebrate the joy of reading through creativity and imagination!

No food, drinks or coolers are permitted for the event.

No backpacks for students in Kindergarten and Grades 1-5 to be brought to school for the event.

Siblings are NOT allowed to attend each other's events. If a sibling is signed out, they will be called down at the conclusion of the last event.

Parents/Guardians may sign out students after their parade has finished, in the cafeteria, if they did not prior to the event.

The Early Release Authorization Form has been shared with K-MYP families via Bright Arrow messages. It will be available until 6 am on 10/30/26.

Our parade route will go around the basketball court and playground areas.

Spectators MUST remain behind the red-marked areas to keep our parade route safe and clear.

Let’s make this year's Storybook Parade a treasure worth remembering!

Field Day shirts are available for $20 and will arrive in time for the January Field Day events.

Payment must be by check or money order payable to Franklin Academy PTO.

Spirit Sticks are still available for purchase online only!

Our next Spirit Stick Dress Down Day is Friday, December 11!

Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines [K-8]'s Service Hours

As agreed to by all Parents/Guardians and defined in the Parent School Contract, Franklin Academy families must complete service hours each academic year. Franklin Academy’s family service hour agreement states that Franklin families will be required to perform eight (8) hours of service for the academic year regardless of the number of students enrolled.
