Glenwood
This Week's Scouting Report
Thursday December 4, 2025
As we wind down 2025, we have a LOT of wonderful events planned before winter break. As this is also our "transition time," we are looking forward to visiting with our new Glenwood Principal this month. Please take a minute to view this Message from Mr. Rehak. On December 16th from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m., parents/guardians are invited for "Coffee with Mr. Rehak" in the Glenwood cafeteria for a brief meet-and-greet. Mr. Rehak's official start is Tuesday, January 6th. Additional opportunities for families to visit with Mr. Rehak will be scheduled in January.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Christa Consadene cconsadene@rtmsd.org.

Attendance Guidelines
DAILY ABSENCE - Procedures to follow if your student will be absent:
- Students must be called out for EACH day of absence (or late) by calling the Attendance Hotline at 610-627-6900 Option 2 before 9:00 am. If we do not receive a call on the Attendance Hotline, you will receive a follow-up phone call /email from the office.
- An absence note is required within 3 days of the student’s return to school. If a note is not received within 3 days, the absence will remain unlawful. You can send in a handwritten absence note or submit an electronic absence form.
- If your child is absent for 5 or more consecutive days due to illness, you must provide a doctor’s note for the absences to be excused. If a doctor’s note is not provided, the absences will remain unlawful.
- **Anytime you receive a doctor’s note for your child’s absence, regardless of number of days, please forward the note to Mrs. Galinsky at jgalinsky@rtmsd.org or send note into the main office. Doctor excused absences do not count towards the 10 day absence maximum that students are permitted per school year.
- Once your child accumulates 10 absences (this does not include doctor excused or pre-planned days a doctor’s note must be provided to excuse all further absences taken during the school year. If a doctor’s note is not provided, the absences will remain unlawful.
