The Weekly Hoot
February 13, 2026
It really has been a fun week. On Tuesday, we celebrated the 100th Day of School, marking a big milestone in our year. It’s hard to believe we’re already counting down the final 80 days. Clearly, we’re having a great time learning and exploring together.
We also enjoyed a wonderful family cookie decorating evening to celebrate the completion of our Spread the Love Pajama & Book Drive, which wraps up on Friday, February 13th. Thank you to everyone who has supported TES’s efforts to give back through this meaningful program. Your generosity truly makes a difference!
Enjoy the fresh snow,

In January, students in grades 1–4 completed the winter session of the NWEA assessment. Children took sections in math, language, and reading.
NWEA (Measures of Academic Progress, or MAP) is a computer-based assessment designed to measure individual student growth over time. The questions adjust in difficulty based on each student’s responses, helping to identify current skill levels and areas for growth. The results provide teachers with valuable information to guide instruction and better meet each child’s needs.
NWEA results are being sent home today, Friday, 2/13/26. Please take a few moments to review your child’s report. If you have any questions or would like more information about your child’s performance, we encourage you to reach out directly to your classroom teacher.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s learning.
