Summer IXL Challenge

From The Westgate Community Club

Volunteers Needed

The Westgate Community Club is looking for individuals interested in getting involved. After next school year, we will be looking for a new secretary and treasurer. If interested, we want to invite you to our meetings next year as a way to become more familiar with the roles.

What is the community club?

The purpose of our community club is to be an organization through which parents can meet and work together to be of service to Westgate Elementary.

When does the community club meet?

We meet every second Tuesday of the month at 5:30PM in Westgate's library.

How do I become involved?

As a parent or guardian of a child at Westgate, you are welcomed and encouraged to become an active member. Staff, parents, and guardians of children attending Westgate are automatically members and we need your involvement! Come join our monthly club meetings!

Events, fundraisers, and activities supported by community club:
• SCHOOL CARNIVAL
• TEACHER GRANTS
• TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
• TRUNK OR TREAT
• CLASSROOM HOLIDAY PARTIES
• FAMILY NIGHT
• SPRING FUN RUN
• AND MORE!

Westgate Campus Closed This Summer

With the ongoing construction of our new building, I wanted to let all families know that our campus will be closing after the last day of school. Shortly after school lets out, the contractors will begin concrete work on the playground and blacktop areas. I know this is not ideal for our students during the summer months, and we appreciate your understanding.

Information Needed!

If your child will not be coming back to Westgate next fall because you are moving or transferring to another school, please let our office know as soon as possible. Also, if you have moved and are planning to stay at Westgate, please be sure to share your new address as well! This information is very important to us as we prepare for fall 2025.

Westgate Gator Spotlight!

Westgate has a tremendous staff dedicated to serving students and families. We hope you enjoy the opportunity to get to know our awesome team a little better!
