Logging into Live Classes
New Class Log in Link
The way teachers build classes this year has changed. Teachers will now be building Class Connects through the Launch Pad. In order to see those Class Connects, students must enter Canvas through Launch Pad this year. If you have an old link bookmarked that takes you right to Canvas, please use the link below instead.
What to Expect
We will have a modified schedule for the first two weeks of school to give students time to build relationships with their homeroom teachers, complete required district assessments, and establish routines and procedures.
Please note that teachers will reach out with assessment times for both 1-on-1 and group assessments. Students in grades K-3 will have 1:1 Reading testing. Students in grades 4 and 5 will have just whole-group testing. The time slots listed are just possible time slots for testing. Students will not be testing in all the time slots listed.
2026/2027 Schedule Samples
Please note that the schedules below are just sample schedules. Your student's specific schedule may look different based on which section of classes they are in and which small groups they are in. Teachers will communicate live class schedules to direct students by September 9th. You will also be able to see the schedule on your students' Launch Pad page. Below are some of the bigger changes from last year's schedule you will want to take note of. You will notice that class time increases as students get older. Students in K-3 should be working on reading skills at home outside of the scheduled class time. (UFLI at-home work, reading with an LC, IXL or Lalilio Reading Work, Reading to themselves in the K12 Library)
This schedule will go into effect starting September 14th after our first two-week modified schedule.
Homeroom: Direct students will have a required homeroom on Wednesdays from 9:00-9:45 to help build community and support engagement.
K-2: There will be optional PALS time from 8:30-9:00 on Mondays for LCs to meet with homeroom teachers for support.
4th and 5th: You will see more live and social studies and science classes to support literacy and competency growth in those areas as you prepare for middle school.
