ALBERTON STUDENTS LIGHT UP THE STAGE IN ALICE IN WONDERLAND
🫖⏰ WHAT AN UNFORGETTABLE TRIP TO WONDERLAND 🍄🐇
Our talented K-5 students lit up the stage with their performance of Alice in Wonderland, bringing the magic of Missoula Children's Theatre to life. After a week of learning acting, singing, listening, and responsibility—and sparking creativity through hands-on workshops—our young stars wowed the crowd with their hard work and heart.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve already raised 9% of our $3,500 goal to bring MCT back next year! If you loved the show (or wish you hadn’t missed it), please consider donating to help us continue this amazing opportunity for our students.
FIFTH GRADERS TAKE THE LEAD AS ZERO WASTE AMBASSADORS 🚲
Alberton fifth graders are stepping up as “Zero Waste Ambassadors” through a year-long project with Home ReSource and Free Cycles in Missoula! Throughout four trips, students learn about the materials cycle, simple machines, and bike maintenance—while keeping “good stuff” out of the landfill. In exchange for bike parts and lessons, they’ve committed to sharing their skills with younger kids in Alberton. Tuesday's celebratory ride capped off a meaningful journey. One student called it his “best year ever!” We’re so proud of their growth and hard work. A special thank you to 5th grade teacher, Katy Cannon, for leading these incredible students on this project. This is the third year her class has been Zero Waste Ambassadors!

Forward Together: Alberton School Board Approves Bold Steps for the Future 💫
On Tuesday, March 25th, the Alberton School Board voted to move forward on several important initiatives that mark a strong step toward shaping a brighter future for Alberton School.
Most notably, the Board approved the launch of a Strategic Planning process—a meaningful opportunity for our school and community to come together, reflect on our shared values, and create a clear, purposeful roadmap for the years ahead. This process will invite voices from all corners of our community, ensuring that the vision we build truly reflects who we are and where we want to go.
In addition, the Board approved a comprehensive facilities review. This important step allows us to assess the current state of our buildings and grounds so we can thoughtfully plan improvements that support both student learning and safety for all students—now and into the future.
Together, these actions reflect a spirit of progress and collaboration. Alberton is moving forward with intention, and we’re excited to walk this path with all of you.
🌟 Let’s shape the future—together. 🌟
