Grade-Level & Program Transitions Survey Reminder

As students move through our system from preschool to high school, we know that there are a lot of important transitions during your child’s academic career and a lot of information to absorb. Barrington 220 is looking for your feedback to help us bolster what is working and improve what may not be. Click here to take the survey, which will be open until October 29. Thank you for helping us continually work to make Barrington 220 the best it can be for all of our students.

Community Conversations on Inclusion in District 220

SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Committee) is hosting their final community engagement session for parents and guardians of students receiving special education services in District 220. This session will take place on October 29th and will provide a space to share your family's experiences with Inclusion—what’s working well, and where we can grow together. Inclusion promotes equal access to all that a school offers by removing barriers and providing necessary accommodations both in and out of the classroom to support all students. Our goal is to listen and learn from families to better understand how inclusion is currently being experienced and explore ways to continue strengthening inclusive practices across the district.

Join us on Wednesday, October 29 at 7 p.m. (at the Barrington Area Library, Zimmerman Room). RSVP "here".

Starting November 1, 2025

Bring It!

Your outgrown spiritwear, that is. To school. No extra trip to the resale shop required!

The PTO has placed boxes inside the main and student activities entrances to collect your too-small or rarely worn spiritwear. They are hoping to pass along items your kids have outgrown to others who can give them a second life.

The plan is for the boxes to be there throughout the year, so send 'em in!
