Tiger Talk
October 5th

Bring on 2026
We have jumped back in feet first and I am a super proud principal. These Tigers are on fire! We are meeting expectations left and right! We are working on having GRIT when it comes to being learners, and are encouraging one another to do our best!
Ms. Dana set up an assembly for our prek-6 kiddos and it was awesome sauce. It was the NED assembly. Ask your kiddo what NED stands for. (Cheat code: Never give up, Encourage others, Do your best). Yes the yo-yo craziness comes from this same assembly, but the message makes it so very worth it!
We've come up with some positive supports to encourage safe, respectful, responsible bus behavior. Students can earn Bus Bucks, that will go into a weekly drawing. They may also earn a Bus Brag which is a positive office referral based on exceptional bus behavior. I encourage families to remind their kiddos what is expected of them on the school bus.
The remainder of the school year is going to fly by with lots of things coming our way!! We have lots of learning to squish in before the end of the year and of course a little bit of fun.
For the month of January we are looking for Tigers who display GRIT. These kiddos know how to persevere and do the hard things.
Here in the elementary we say to have grit you have to:
G-Give it your all
R-Redo if needed
I-Ignore giving up
T-Take your time to do it right
If you notice your kiddo showing grit at home please reach out to Ms. Dana or I and let us know! We would love to shout them out!
Reminder School is NOT in session Tomorrow, January. 12th
Refreshers:
Doors open at 7:25 tardy bell rings at 7:45. Students having breakfast should arrive as early as possible.
As a reminder our district expectations are that we are respectful, responsible, safe learners. It is imperative we are consistent with those expectations campus wide. We are buckling down to ensure that expectations are being met in an effort to make the most of our final semester of the school year.
