Mother's Day Flower and Plant Sale (At Log)
Once again, our LCMS and surrounding community showed up big and made this event a great success. To all of the moms, we hope you had a great Mother's Day! To our staff and student volunteers of whom there are too many to name, thank you. Special thanks to Mr. Markey for conducting this event and to Ms. Leiby, and Ms. Chase for their hard work and the long hours they served this weekend.
Achievement Breakfast
Log College held its quarterly achievement breakfast on Friday. Four students from each team were selected based on their academic achievements, improvements, or contributions to LCMS and the community. Students were celebrated receiving certificates, some sweet treats, and the opportunity to hear the teacher submissions about why they were chosen.
Students of the Month
Congratulations to Caroline D., Ethan A., Julianna N., Jackson D., Anastasiia R., Jayden S., Alyssa T., Joe D., Yaseen S., Angjelina A, Owen T., and Abby S. for being selected by their teachers as Students of the Month for April! Keep up the good work and continue being great examples to other students!
Spring Concert
On Monday night, Log College's musicians brought down the house at the instrumental concert. Log's choral students will attempt to match their efforts this Monday evening as we celebrate our singers.
Homework Club
This week is the last week for Homework Club - Hope to see you Wednesday morning!
Spring Sports Update
Spring sports are well underway. Log College's baseball team is currently on a two-game winning streak with victories over Lenape and Holicong. Girls Soccer also jumped into the win column with a victory over New Hope.
Spring Sports
Dear Log College Families,
Winter Sports have concluded and Spring Sports Season has arrived. Contact Log's Athletic Director, Mr. Corey at coreco@centennialsd.org with any questions.
Spring Sports include:
- Track and Field (Girls and Boys)
- Baseball
- Softball
- Girls Soccer
- Two Club Sports (6th Grade students are eligible): Pickleball and Lacrosse (No physical needed for club sports)
PIAA sports physical -
All students must have a completed PIAA physical (dated after June 1, 2023). The physical forms can be downloaded from the link - PIAA Physical Form - Updated 3/22/23 (or you can pick one up from Mr. Corey, our athletic director or any LCMS coaches).
If you have already played a sport in the Fall/Winter, you do not need to complete a new physical, but you must re-submit section 7 (Re-certification by parent/guardian) from the PIAA physical form. This page does not require seeing a doctor or medical provider.
If you did not submit a PIAA physical in the Fall/Winter, you must complete Sections 1 to 5 within the PIAA sports physical packet. This must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Section 6 must be completed by an authorized medical examiner (family doctor, urgent care, minute clinic). You can ignore pages 7-8.
If you cannot find an appointment time with your doctor, you may use another provider or visit a CVS Minute Clinic or visit an Urgent Care center. The Centennial School District has a partnership with Liberty Urgent Care:
If you use any of the following Liberty Urgent Care centers and mention Centennial SD, your physical will only cost $20. (Locations listed below)
