Principal's Message
This Week is Election Day 2026
Voting is a fundamental right and a crucial aspect of our country, allowing citizens to express their opinions and influence government decisions. Each vote contributes to the collective power of the people, shaping policies that impact our everyday lives, including things like our children's education. By participating in elections, individuals help ensure that their voices are heard and that elected officials are held accountable for the actions once elected.
On Tuesday, November 3rd, our campus will serve as a polling location for the Midterm General Election. Due to this, you will notice additional activity on campus from 6:00am to 9:00pm. Polls will be open from 7:00AM to 8:00PM in the Parklane staff lounge located just inside of the main gates.
Our school and district staff have planned accordingly to ensure that there will be minimal disruptions to the school day during voting times. On this day, students will still enter and exit through the main gates, and we will have additional hired security present on campus to help ensure that voters remain within designated voting areas.

Phones down, heads up. Creating connections in the classroom.
As we settle back into the routines of school, please help us remind your children that their phones should be put away during school. During school hours, campuses are a "no phone zone" and students will be expected to keep their phones off and put away.
This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world. For more information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.lodiusd.net/be-present.
