π« School Attendance π«
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. We will be doing a series of activities to teach students about bullying prevention.
* Sharon Elementary School offers students a confidential way to report bullying. Students may complete a bullying report and submit to their teacher and then the teacher will submit to Ms. Liddell, the counselor. Or students can report straight to our counselor. Please encourage your child to report any act of bullying and it will be handled immediately and appropriately.
π΄ Veterans' Day π΄
Please fill out the form below if you, your spouse, or the student's grandparent(s) are active duty military or veterans. You will need to do a separate form for each service member. On November 11th, we will have a presentation for these active duty/veteran service men and women, hero walk in the school building, followed by a light breakfast. (More Information to come).

πΎ PBIS πΎ
Sharon Elementary, we use PBIS β Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports β to help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment where all students can learn and grow. PBIS is a school-wide approach that focuses on teaching and encouraging positive behaviors. Just like students learn math or reading, we believe behavior should be taught, practiced, and celebrated!
As Jaguars, we ROAR. We are Respectful, Organized, Accepting, and Responsible. Please review and remind your child that we want to ROAR every day in the cafeteria, hallways, playground, and in the classroom. We have lots of fun plans for this school year to reward positive behaviors.
The October Character word is Tolerance.
