Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year at Adventure Elementary!

Dear Adventure Families,

We are thrilled to welcome both new and returning families to our vibrant school community as we begin another exciting year in our 50/50 Dual Language Enrichment program! At Adventure Elementary, we are proud to offer a rigorous and inclusive education that honors every child’s strengths. While summer has just begun, we want you to have the most important information for the fall in your inbox. So, if you're not ready to think about back-to-school season yet, save this email for later!

Our work is grounded in the three pillars of dual language education: bilingualism and biliteracy, high academic achievement, and sociocultural competence. We believe that language is an asset—and that biliteracy is a lifelong gift that opens doors and strengthens cognitive, academic, and social-emotional growth.

Adventure’s school identity is deeply rooted in this mission. We intentionally center both of our target languages—English and Spanish—as well as the many cultures represented in our community. These are not only reflected in our curriculum, but celebrated in the everyday life of our school.

Just as important as academic success is who our students become. That’s why we intentionally teach and model our core effective learner habits: communication, inclusion, accountability, perseverance, and reflection. These values guide how we learn, grow, and work together as a community.

Our dedicated staff is already hard at work preparing for a year full of meaningful learning, joyful experiences, and strong partnerships with families.

Please mark your calendars for our Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 8 from 4:30–6:00 PM. This event is a great opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and get ready for a strong start to the year. More details will be shared in early August.

We look forward to partnering with you to make this a joyful and successful year for every student.

Saludos,

Sarah and Marisa
