We’re still riding the high from an incredible week of music-making! Our Spring Concert this past Tuesday was a huge success — thank you to everyone who came out to support our talented students!

Even more exciting: ALL FIVE of our choir ensembles — NV Tenor Bass, NV Treble, Chorale, Varsity Treble, and Varsity Mixed Choir — received STRAIGHT ONES from every judge at UIL! That’s a full Sweepstakes sweep! 🎉👏 Huge congratulations to all singers for their outstanding performances and hard work.

The Wheelice ‘Pete’ Wilson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship program will award at least two (2) scholarships to Coppell students who have demonstrated significant appreciation for and dedication to the arts and/or the Coppell community. The minimum scholarship award will be $1,000.

• Students must be a current resident of Coppell or have attended a Coppell school.

• Students must be enrolled in a two- or four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university during the award period.

• Past scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply if they continue to meet the criteria for selection.

Applications are due April 25, 2025.

We are excited to announce that the CHS Choir Booster Senior Scholarship application is now available! Seniors, you can apply by clicking the link below to access and submit your application. The deadline to submit is May 2, 2025 5PM.

All-State auditions are required of all Coppell Choir Varsity Singers. Summer All-State Choir Camp is a great way for you to get a head start on your All-State music and a great way to meet new friends over your summer break. You will come back in the fall with a head start on learning and preparation.

SRF Monthly Quizzes

You will take a monthly SRF quiz at the end of every month. This will be a Performance Tasks

Grade. You only get 2 tries so be sure that your wifi connection is good and your audio sound is

on. You have the entire month to take the quiz. Every month’s quiz will be due on the LAST

FRIDAY of the month at 10PM. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

SRF Practice Log

Each singer is expected to practice sight reading on SRF for 10 minutes per week (2 minutes

each day of the week) and 40 minutes per month. This will be a completion grade. SRF will

keep track of all your practice log data. We will give one Performance Tasks monthly SRF

Practice Log each month. Please be sure to practice SRF weekly. Each week will start on SUNDAY and end on SATURDAY.
