7th Grade Weekly News, October 13
From the desk of Chris Howell, Assistant Principal
Dear Parents and Students,
As we enter the second quarter, I want to express my appreciation for the opportunity to get to know and work with your seventh graders over the past few months. It has been a pleasure to see them grow and learn.
As we prepare for the new quarter starting on Monday, I would like to address a specific concern regarding behavior in the cafeteria. I understand that this time is essential for students to relax, socialize, and have fun with their friends. However, it has come to my attention that sometimes the enjoyment can be taken a little too far.
I kindly request your support in having a brief conversation with your child about appropriate behavior in the cafeteria. Reinforcing expected behaviors during this time will contribute to a positive and respectful environment for everyone. This includes respecting others' personal space, maintaining a reasonable noise level, and being mindful of the shared space.
Your partnership in reinforcing these expectations is crucial in creating a positive school environment. I believe that with your support, we can ensure that the cafeteria remains an enjoyable and respectful space for all students.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I am looking forward to a successful and positive second quarter for our seventh graders.
