Dear FamiLEE Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in helping us finish the year well. Your involvement truly makes a difference in the growth and achievement of our students.

I would like to celebrate our talented students who are participating in our production of Chicago Jr. The show is simply amazing! I encourage everyone to come out and support our students Thursday through Saturday. You will not be disappointed!

Congratulations as well to all of our spring semester athletes. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment are evident, and we are proud of the way you represent our school both on and off the field. You are true examples of excellence.

As we move toward the end of the school year, we ask that students and parents remain focused on finishing strong. Please be mindful of upcoming awards ceremonies in May and take time to review the school calendar for important end-of-year dates and events.

Report cards were sent home on Friday. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers.

Thank you again for your continued support. Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Kitrise Torain

LHS Principal

This law, which went into effect July 1, 2025, requires public schools across Alabama to limit student use of wireless communication devices during the instructional day to improve focus, safety, and engagement. In compliance with this law, Huntsville City Schools will implement a district-wide Wireless Communication Device (WCD) Policy beginning Fall 2025.
