Hard to believe it is May already! We finished our Forward Assessment (3rd-5th graders)! The students worked so hard to give their best effort! We are so proud of their work. The month of May also brings many field trips! Upon registration, you gave consent for in town field trips. Out of town field trips will be communicated to you from your classroom teacher. We have zoo trips, park trips and many other great learning events planned!
We have Teacher Appreciation Week coming up next week (May 5-9). THANK YOU to our PTO for organizing some treats for our educators. Purdy Palooza is one of our largest fundraisers! We gather community donations, and the students experience an afternoon Field Day! May 22 is the date! If you would like to help with planning or have a business willing to donate, please contact PTO Co-Presidents, Molly Fuller or Sarah Fajut at fullerm@fortschools.org.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: As a reminder, EduKits are available for purchase. This is optional. Traditional school supply lists will be sent and available at stores. The EduKits are the full school supply box for your child. These are ordered and delivered right to school for the first day of school. Final report cards come home in the mail. If you have had a recent address change and forgot to notify school, please call the office or make this change in your Powerschool Account. Thanks!
