End of Year High School Newsletter

June 2025

1. Planning Ahead for September!

After returning from summer break, 8th graders hit the ground running with high school planning conversations and activities. Students can prepare over summer break by exploring high school options, programs of interest, and qualifications for admissions! The more high school conversations and experiences had prior to September 2025, the more confidently our young people can begin their 8th grade school year and high school planning process. We are including rising 7th graders to this message as it is never too early to start the process!

September and October are the most popular months for high schools to offer Open Houses and school tours. 🍂

Please start to think about and plan how this will look for your family in the fall. Check out the “High School Research” section of this newsletter for a great starting point. EVCS offers a High School Information Night in September. Please read the “High School Information Night” section of this newsletter for more preliminary details.

2. High School Information Night

High School Information Night will be hosted this year at the Hertel Campus on September 25, 2025.

This is a combined event for both the Days Park and Hertel students and families.

Our High School Planning Committee is actively engaged in the planning process for this special event! More information about High School Information Night will be sent out when school resumes in September 2025!
