Campus News

Wilkerson Intermediate Families,

Welcome back! We had a wonderful first three days and are looking forward to many more. We know our Wildcats will do great things in the 2026-2027 school year and hope that you take every opportunity to engage with us in your child's education.

The Wilkerson PTO is a great opportunity to get involved. Please consider becoming a member and signing up via the link in the Wilkerson PTO News section of the newsletter.

Our next big event is Parent Information and Title I Night on September 1. We look forward to seeing you there.

Our Wilkerson family is thrilled to announce that our Wildcats performed beautifully on the 2026 STAAR. We are very proud of our B, but we are setting goals to get us to an A. We know our students can do it.

Better Together!

Student and Family Resource Page

Our goal for sharing info via the newsletter each week is to make it as relevant and concise as possible. For that reason, we will be moving many of the things we share to a permanent home on the Student and Family Resources Page on the School Website. Please visit for an archive of the newsletters and all of the calendars, schedules, and campus info we've previously shared.

The rest of our website is undergoing updates to include our new staff members and LC teams. Those updates will be completed this week.

Family Needs Assessment

Throughout the year, different organizations come to Wilkerson Intermediate wanting to assist our students and families with school supplies, clothing, and other needs. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, a federal law that makes student educational records confidential, prohibits us from releasing student information to these agencies without your permission. To help us work with these groups in the most efficient way possible, we ask that you complete and sign the form below, even if no assistance is needed at this time.

Library Notifications

Conroe ISD Library Services has enabled checkout notifications, so you know the title of the books your student checked out. These notifications will be sent on days when your student checks out a book from the school library and will only be sent for the initial checkout. Daily notifications will no longer occur for the entire time a book is checked out to a student. State law and board policy do not allow an opt-out option for these notifications. If you have a question or concern about your student’s reading material, please contact your campus librarian.

The Destiny Library Catalog has been updated with the following message as per Local Policy EFB.

Library materials may include objectionable materials. If you would like to restrict access to specific library materials, please complete the Library Access Form.

More information can be found at Conroe ISD Library Services.

Dress Code Accountability

We believe that there is a standard of dress that should be maintained in an academic setting. Just like adults have dress expectations for their workplace, Conroe ISD has expectations for the learning environment. Therefore, students who are out of dress code will be sent to the front office to call home for a change of clothes. If the student continues to wear clothing that does not align with the CISD dress code, they will receive lunch detention. Repeated incidents could result in a referral with disciplinary consequences.

The dress code information below comes directly from the Conroe ISD Elementary and Intermediate Student Handbook.
