Make a Difference Mondays! You can make a difference for a child in need this holiday season by donating a toy for the Elev8 Hope Toy Drive
Take Care Tuesdays! It is shown that our brains are wired for giving. In fact, the chemicals released by the brain during the process of giving is far more rewarding than when we receive gifts. During the holiday season you can do something to take care of yourself and help another by doing something for someone else. Joining in even small local efforts, such as in community centers, soup kitchens, geriatric life centers, children’s’ hospitals or after–school programs – all foster the feeling (and reality) that you are making a positive impact on another person’s life.
Way to Go Wednesdays! Shout out to Summer Apruzzese, who found money outside Clark’s front entrance and turned it into Mrs. Decker.T hanks for exhibiting honesty and compassion for your peers, Summer.
Thankful Thursdays! We are so very grateful to Mrs. Decker for all of the work she does to schedule and train our wonderful front desk student and adult volunteers. An extra special shout out to the candy cane crew leader, Mrs. Elg, who brings so much kindness to the front desk… and candy!
Fun Fact Fridays! Did you know that Giant Pandas eat approximately 28 pounds of bamboo a day – that’s over 5 tons per year! How about this one…Hippopotamus milk is pink. I wonder if it is strawberry flavored? Hmmmm

Lesson 3.2 Maximize Positive Relationships
What Actually Feeds a Family? https://safeshare.tv/x/ss5d154c7cac0ca
Some thoughts:
How do people in this video reconnect with positive relationships that have become disconnected? Why is it important to tell our biggest supporters what they mean to us? How can you improve the positive relationships in your life to make them even better?
I truly believe in this work and it is needed more than ever in the lives of our teens... but honestly, it is GREAT info for us all! I welcome your feedback. Call me 772-419-5751 or email me ljudd@irsc.edu
