The AYL field hockey is for girls in 1st- 6th grade. Practice is held two times a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, and games are on Sunday mornings at Lower Dauphin Middle School. Participants will need a mouth guard, shin guards, and a stick to play. The registration fee will cover the games and a T-shirt. The Envirothon team represented AE at the annual County Envirothon Competition. Despite the rain and unpleasant weather, they worked hard as a team and earned ribbons for placing in many events.

Mrs. Wilson led fourth graders in Mrs. Uhrich's class through lessons on the rock cycle. One lesson included students transforming Starburst candy into rocks. What an excellent hands-on way to learn about different types of rocks!

Elementary families, friends, and community members enjoyed an evening of the arts! The night started with access to the elementary art show, which displayed various art projects from all grade levels. We finished with the elementary band and chorus concert, highlighting our students' musical talents!

AE had a number of students participate in IU13's Math 24 Challenge! We had two table winners and one student make it to the semi-finals. Way to go!
