This event is a valuable opportunity for families to learn more about our Title I program, its benefits, and how it supports our students' education. We'll discuss our school's goals, funding allocations, and ways families can get involved to enhance their child's learning experience. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to ensure every student's success!
Nurse's Information/Physicals
7th Grade Physicals: Remember that Nebraska state law requires all incoming 7th graders to have a physical exam and be up to date on all immunizations before school begins.
Sports Physicals: All 7th and 8th Graders that plan to participate in athletics will need a sports physical. We encourage all students to get one before the start of the year, as it will last the entire year.
Recommendations: We recommend scheduling an appointment with your child's healthcare provider as soon as possible, as these spots tend to fill up quickly. Alternatively, you can visit a school-based health center for these services.
Please bring copies of your child’s health records to the school prior to the start of the year, or have the healthcare provider fax them to the school, Attention: School Nurse.
Boys and Girls Club - After School Partner
Bryan Middle School is thrilled to have an incredible community partner for our after-school program, The Boys and Girls Club. The Boys and Girls Club does require registration and confirmation to attend. You can easily register your students by going to https://www.bgcomaha.org/locations/bryan-middle-club.html. It is free for Bryan Middle school students to become members. The Club is currently open for existing and new members this summer from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
PTO Information
We are seeking enthusiastic parents to help start a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) at Bryan Middle School. A PTO plays a crucial role in building a strong school community by organizing events, fundraising, and fostering better communication between parents and staff. Your involvement can make a significant impact on enhancing our students' educational experience and supporting school initiatives. If you're interested in making a difference and working collaboratively with other parents and teachers, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive environment for our Bears! Please email me at andrew.karmazin@ops.org if interested.
