-Every student will be receiving 2 prize coupons that have been graciously donated by Chick-Fil-A and Texas Roadhouse. Please expect those in students' folders on Friday, October 10th.

-If your family won a random drawing prize, they will receive them in their homeroom.

We have a limited number of adult-sized Walk-A-Thon T-shirts available for parents who would like one.

• Parent Monthly Meeting
• When: Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at 7:00PM.
• Where: OLVCS Gym
• Topic: Curricular and Materials Night
• Childcare will be available during the meeting.
• All Parent Monthly Meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception of December. December's meeting will be held on a Friday to accommodate an OLVCS Family Movie Night event.

All students in 3rd-8th grade are invited to join this fun club. Friday's 4-7 pm Starting January 9, 2026. To sign up your child, you must complete the following by November 14th, 2025:

1. OLVCS Google Form
2. Pay OLVCS Participation Fee
3. Submit OLVCS Permission Slip to the office
4. Complete Tussey Mountain's Online Registration Form and Payment
5. Pray for snow!

Our 8th Grade Recognition Volleyball Game was full of Crusader spirit — on the court and in the stands. A big thank you to our OLVCS Pep Band for bringing the energy and making the gym rock!

To our 8th grade players — your dedication, leadership, and love for the game have been such a gift to our team. You’ve set a wonderful example for the younger Crusaders coming up behind you. Congrats!

OLVCS has immediate openings for both Girls and Boys Basketball Team Coaches.

Positions for Head Coach and Assistant Coach are available. Coaches are responsible for coaching OLVCS 7th and 8th grade student-athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition, as well as motivate student-athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. • Hallie Brennan volunteers for the preschool in the mornings. She hopes to either be a special education or elementary education teacher someday like her mom, Mrs. Carroll, one of our Kindergarten teachers!
• Safia Ishmael is the new Koala Instructional Classroom Aide. Safia enjoys working with young children, like her mom, our parish Director of Religious Education; Susan Ishmael, and supporting Mrs. Stoehr with classroom activities.
• The Koala room also has welcomed a new student teacher: Jessica Yao. Miss Yao is an Early Childhood Education major at Penn State University.
  
• We welcome all our new helpers and are grateful for them sharing their time and past experiences to benefit our students.
  

Preschool welcomed Kindergarten students to have their stuffed animals (stuffies) blessed by Deacon Dave in anticipation of the Feast of St. Francis that is this Saturday.

Oct. 1st was the Feast Day of St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower, OLVCS Preschool's Patron Saint. She did small things with great love! OLV Preschool students learned about St. Therese through stories, crafts and a special flower cookie snack for each child.

Join the SJCA Volleyball team as they raise awareness and research funds for Rett Syndrome. Team Captain Monika Peters is spearheading the event, as she became friends with Thea, a young girl with Rett syndrome, while helping at Camp Confidence, a camp for children with disabilities. JV @ 5:30 PM; Varsity @ 6:30PM. Be sure to wear purple!

Send in your raffle tickets to the church and/or consider donating a them basket for the raffle. Baskets may be dropped off in the church office starting on October. 13th.
