FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
This school year, we are proudly embracing the theme "Building a Legacy." At Fuller, we believe that every moment, every action, and every relationship helps create the legacy we leave behind. Each month, we’ll focus on one of the powerful traits that make up our LEGACY acronym:
Leadership
Empathy
Growth Mindset
Acceptance
Connection
YOU!
These character traits will guide our learning, conversations, and school culture throughout the year. From classroom discussions to campus-wide activities, our students and staff will be growing in what it means to lead with integrity, show kindness, embrace challenges, include others, build meaningful relationships—and understand that each of us plays a part in shaping our school's legacy.
At the heart of it all is our mantra:
“We are Fuller. We are Family.”
This isn’t just a saying—it’s a promise. At Fuller, being a family means lifting each other up, celebrating each other’s successes, and showing up with care and compassion. Whether you're a student, parent, or staff member, you are an important part of the Fuller family—and together, we’ll build something meaningful, lasting, and full of heart.
Remember, We are Fuller, We are Family!
Thank you,
Nathan Smith

Pop and Play with Pre-K
Attention FULLER Pre-K Families!
We're so excited to welcome our youngest students with "Pop and Play with Pre-K," a special opportunity for your child to get familiar with their new school environment and enjoy a popsicle!
During these sessions, your child will have fun exploring the building, helping them feel comfortable and confident on their first day. Meanwhile, parents will learn everything they need to know about our Pre-K program, from daily routines to curriculum highlights.
These interactive sessions also allow our staff to observe your child in a relaxed setting, helping us make the best classroom placement decisions for a successful and joyful learning experience. We will host four sessions on July 23rd beginning at 9AM. Please sign up for 1 session.

ATTENDANCE
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
For attendance questions:
PEIMS Clerk: Shea Harrison sharrison@aubreyisd.net
Attendance Administrator: Anverly Laster alaster@aubreyisd.net
Here at Fuller, our campus wide attendance goal is 96%.
We will continue to recognize attendance, engage students and families, monitor attendance data, provide early outreach and respond to barriers of attendance.
Families, please remember a habit of attendance is a school readiness skill. If your child is going to be absent, please notify your child's classroom teacher and our campus registrar sharrison@aubreyisd.net.
PARENT/DOCTORS NOTES- Please be sure you emails regarding absences to sharrison@aubreyisd.net. You may also drop a hard copy of a parent or doctor's note in the front office. Parents, please email notes to Mrs. Harrison as well so that she can document absences as they occur. Once we come back from break, we will not be able to access semester 1 to adjust attendance. Thank you.
