Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families-- a lot of the buzz on campus this week was related to our fall sports teams and their continued success in District competitions and earning their way to the State Playoffs!
We are very proud of the work they have put in out of season and in season to reach such high levels. What is equally important is that our athletes are full time students at the same time. This requires a tremendous amount of energy, time-management, and focus. Most of our athletes are achieving at very high levels in the classroom as well. I think there is a correlation to be made in that!
Somehow Halloween is already behind us and we’re into November. I want to thank all of our students who brought in candy or hosted a “trunk” at our annual Trunk-or-Treat community night last Friday. It was a night of great fun and enthusiastic little people smiling and laughing and engaging with our students.
Our Veteran’s Day assembly is coming up on Tuesday, 8:30am. Veteran’s and their families are invited to attend. This event is such a special and important time for our students and staff as we reflect on our past and present, and honor those who have served.
Our musicians have also been super-busy. They wrapped up a successful marching band season at the University of Idaho last Saturday. Congrats to our Regiment on a stellar season and thank you for your hard work and dedication! Many of them also had concerts in the evening this week, so hopefully they can now slow down a bit as we move into winter.
Don’t forget to get your tickets for Peter and the Starcatcher! Our fall play opens up next Friday, November 13! Bring the whole family out for the show.
Stay informed and on top of all things Ridgeline by skimming the Flyer every week.
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt

Ridgeline DECA
On October 28, Ridgeline DECA members volunteered at Pope Francis Haven for a Fall Fest community service event. Our chapter donated pumpkins, pumpkin-carving supplies, and glow sticks so families could spend time together carving and decorating pumpkins.
Members helped prepare materials, assisted with the activities, and shared an afternoon of Halloween fun with the families. Thank you to Pope Francis Haven for welcoming Ridgeline DECA and giving our members the opportunity to support our community!
Women's Empowerment Alliance
Throughout October, Ridgeline’s Women’s Empowerment Alliance has been hosting a feminine hygiene drive benefiting the Spokane Hope House. As part of this initiative, the club recently received a generous donation of $200 worth of feminine hygiene products from CHAS Health.
The drive aims to collect essential items, including pads, tampons, and hygiene wipes, to support individuals in need in our community. Donations are still being accepted through the end of October and can be dropped off in Room D212.
We are grateful to CHAS Health for supporting this initiative and encourage students and staff to contribute to help us make an even greater impact in our community.

Now collecting bread tabs
This is what 15,510 bread tabs looks like! Thanks to our amazing community, we’re more than halfway to our goal of 25,000 tabs this year. These little plastic tabs are recycled for money that goes toward purchasing wheelchairs for kids in need. It takes about 260,000 bread tabs to buy one basic wheelchair, so every single tab truly counts. Please keep collecting and drop off your tabs at the RHS front office. You can also help by reaching out to any local businesses that might use bread tabs, like bakeries, grocery stores, sandwich shops, cafes, or restaurants, and asking them to save their tabs for us. Thank you for helping us close the gap!" Reach out to Mrs. Unland with any questions. dunland@cvsd.org
