New Student Device Expectations for the 26-27 School Year
Dear Kingsway Students, Parents, and Guardians,
One topic that has received considerable attention this summer has been New Jersey's new law restricting the use of personal internet-enabled devices during the school day. As a result, Kingsway has developed procedures to ensure compliance with the law while continuing to provide students with a safe, engaging, and focused learning environment.
Please take a few moments to review the attached letter, which outlines the new requirements, our district procedures, and our "Off and Away" campaign. Additional information will be shared by your child's school prior to the start of the school year.
Thank you in advance for your partnership and support as we work together to make the 2026-2027 school year a successful one.

Breakfast Before the Bell Information
Starting this year, the students will have an opportunity to get breakfast in two locations of the building: the 400-wing and the East Cafe. Both locations are a Grab and Go breakfast.
A New Breakfast Cart Will Be Placed in the 400-Wing Each Morning
Digital Hall Pass System for the 26-27 School Year - GoGuardian
This school year, we will continue to use a digital hall pass system designed to make the school day safer, more efficient, and less disruptive. With GoGuardian, students will request passes on their chromebooks or on the classroom kiosk. The system allows school staff to see, in real time, who is out of class, where they are going, and how long they've been gone. This helps us keep students accountable while minimizing interruptions during instructional time.
More importantly, GoGuardian improves student safety. In case of an emergency, we can quickly locate students who are not in their classrooms, helping us respond more effectively and ensuring everyone's wellbeing.
By using GoGuardian, we’re able to keep students in class longer, reduce lost learning time, and provide a more secure school environment. We appreciate your support as we continue to use this digital hall pass system that will begin on Thursday, September 3.
Attendance Information for the 26-27 School Year
Dear Kingsway Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Regular school attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success. We are sharing an important update to district attendance procedures that will take effect beginning in the 2026–2027 school year.
These updates align Kingsway’s practices with New Jersey Department of Education guidance and state statutes regarding attendance reporting and excused absences.
Please see the attached letter for full details, including definitions of excused absences, attendance expectations, and how families can access additional support.
If you have any questions, please contact your child’s principal or the Superintendent.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student attendance and success.
Student Chromebooks: Expectations for the 26-27 School Year
Our 1:1 Chromebook initiative supports student learning in and outside of the classroom. The district-issued device is part of each student's necessary classroom supplies, similar to a pencil, book, or paper. All students are expected to attend every class, every day prepared with a fully charged, district-issued Chromebook with the charging cord. We highly recommend designating a location in your home for the device to charge at night and to be easily placed in the student's backpack in the morning. Click below for more information about chromebook expectations.
Senior Letter Communication - Seniors Only
Dear Senior,
Welcome to your senior year at Kingsway Regional High School!
I am excited and honored to continue supporting the Class of 2027 during one of the most memorable and important years of your high school experience. I am also excited to introduce your senior class advisors, Mr. Nick Fiocco and Mr. Marc Schaffer. They are here to guide you, answer your questions, and ensure you have an amazing senior year experience.
You will find important information regarding your senior year in the SENIOR LETTER. Remember that you must be logged into your KRSD Google account to access and complete the Mandatory Senior Student Information Form included in the senior letter.
Please be advised that seniors will not be able to obtain a parking permit until parents/guardians review all contact information and check off on back-to-school information in Kingsway's Genesis Parent Portal. It is important that this is done if students are looking to drive and park on campus next year.
Let's make this year extraordinary. Embrace the challenges, celebrate your achievements, and cherish every moment. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or your advisors.
