First Fridays Professional Development

December 7, 2018 - Library Website Best Practices

Reserve Friday, December 7, 2018 for a professional learning opportunity about library media website best practices. The WebEx will feature library media specialists briefly speaking about the methods used to effectively design the library media center website to provide access to information to patrons.

*If you would like to be a guest speaker on either the afternoon or morning sessions, please email cdillard@alsde.edu. I would love to feature library media specialists, the library media center webpages, and discussion on how information was selected and organized to meet the needs of the patrons. You can find the archived sessions under the Archived Sessions tab and then by month/year.

Sessions will be held at 9:30am and 1:00pm.

You will have until November 30, 2018 to view the recorded sessions, complete the required activities, and register for the appropriate STIPD session to receive PD credit. Credit will be awarded after November 30th.
