The 2026-27 school year is set to begin the week of August 24, 2026. Registration days are as follows:

Elementary Schools: Tuesday, August 18, 2026

Middle School & High School: Wednesday, August 19, 2026

While the details of the full calendar are still being coordinated with our labor partners, the following breaks are confirmed as part of Michigan Law and the Ingham ISD Common Calendar:

Labor Day Weekend - No School: September 4-7, 2026

Winter Break - No School: December 21, 2026 - January 1, 2027

Spring Break - No School: March 29-April 2, 2027

We look forward to sharing the comprehensive district calendar with all families as soon as it is developed.

This May, the Foundation for Haslett Schools is hosting the inaugural Blue & Gold 5K, and the goal is simple: bring our community together while supporting our schools.

There’s something for everyone,

and it's stroller and wheelchair friendly.

• 5K Run/Walk on a paved course

• Non-Timed Track Event for all ability levels

• Kids Fun Run for our youngest participants

Early bird registration is open now, but the discounted price ends April 1.

April 6: PD: Professional Learning Day for Staff/No School for Students

May 25: Memorial Day/No School

June 3 & 4: Partial Day (Secondary Only)

June 5: Last Day of School-Partial Day for all Students
