Duval Dispatch
Celebrating 70 Years of Regal/Duval!
Week of January 19th
Dear Duval Families-
This week will be a shorter week. We have the Book Fair during library classes. We also have BINGO night on Wednesday from 4:30-6pm. Come play BINGO, win some fun prizes, and shop the book fair!
Last week we had a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly on Thursday where we talked about making change through kindness. We challenged each student to perform an act of Kindness on Monday.
Last week we also started our visiting artist project. Beth Bailey went to all students' art classes and talked about careers in the arts as well as showing some art techniques. The students started making their cards that will be on display at family night on January 29th. More information is in the flyer below.
Have a wonderful week!

2026 Artist Residency
Keeping the tradition of an annual large-scale artist experience going, we are fortunate to have partnered with Beth Bailey, Duval parent and artist activist, who put together a project proposal and helped us write a grant to the Mass Cultural Council for a program this year. We are pleased that Duval has received $5000 from the MCC and the Arts Program is set to begin in a couple weeks. Check out the SNEAK PEEK below that Mrs. Bailey put together. We think kids will have a fantastic time. Thanks as well to Mrs. Brown for collaborating on this cool experience for our Dolphins!

If you have an active CORI please consider signing up to volunteer- these events are dependent on lots of hands. An active CORI is required to volunteer for any event so please ensure that you have completed the paperwork with your ID at our school office.
