A message from the Principal
Dear Eastlake Learning Community,
As we are entering our fifth week in MP2, it is extremely important to take care of your mental and physical health. With Flu season upon us, we must remember to follow simple steps to remain healthy. Continue washing hands, get enough rest, eat healthy, and dress appropriately as weather conditions change considerably.
Eastlake scholars achievements consistently elevate to high expectations in their academics, athletics, fine arts, and within the community. Eastlake students recognized our veterans in true Falcon fashion last week. Thank you to our veterans and all those who took time to celebrate their commitment to our country and freedom.
Four weeks testing was last week. Scholars stayed focused and attended many different opportunities for tutoring. Our volleyball team advanced for the first time past area and competed against a very strong Southlake Carroll in the quarter finals. Our art teachers, with 15 other students attended a very special art show in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Eastlake choir students: Esperanza Herrera, Arella Labrado, Anissa Herrera, Kayle Vazquez, Vianney Estrada, and Ruthie Pacheco were all cordially invited to sing at this years Region 22 elite choir at Bowie HS this past Friday. And finally, our Key club met their goal in raising funds, food, and turkeys for this Thanksgiving.
