MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR

As we step into September, I’m reminded of a farmer planting a field. In the spring, he carefully prepared the soil, planted seeds, and tended to the ground with patience and care. By September, he could see the first signs of a bountiful harvest—proof that all the early work was paying off.

Our school year is much the same. This summer was our “planting season,” full of preparation, new learning, and excitement. Now, in September, we begin to see the fruits of that effort: classrooms alive with energy, friendships taking root, and learning beginning to flourish.

Here are some highlights from just the first couple of weeks of school:

  • Thank you to our families, students, and staff who made the first days of school so smooth. Your teamwork and positivity set the tone for a great year.

  • Our open houses were a huge success. If you couldn’t attend, please reach out to your child’s teacher for updates.

  • We continue to prioritize the safety of our students. Please remember to follow school drop-off and pick-up procedures to keep traffic flowing smoothly and everyone safe.

  • Finally, the beginning of the school year is a great time to set goals. Encourage your child to share something they would like to accomplish this year.

Just like how a farmer relies on sunshine and rain for crops to grow, our schools thrive because of the support of our families and community. Thank you for partnering with us as we nurture and grow the potential in every child. Together, we are building something truly special.

Dr. Bazata

Superintendent
