Dear PES Families,

Today, during our all-school meeting, two of our Kindergarten classes shared a song about being thankful. Following their performance, Mrs. Obuchowski's class took the stage to discuss the importance of being thankful and read aloud the things they are most grateful for. We also took a moment to recognize and celebrate our wonderful substitute teachers—our school couldn't function without their invaluable support!

This afternoon there was a test call/email from our superintendent. If you did not receive this call or email or if the number/email is incorrect, please contact Judy Miskelly, jmiskelly@conval.edu, the District’s Student Information Systems Coordinator, who will work to determine why you did not receive the call/email and then make the necessary changes to ensure that you receive future calls and emails.

11/27-11/29- No School, Thanksgiving Break

12/5- Holiday Concert K-2 will be 5:30-6:00 and 3-4 will be 6:30-7:00

PES Winter Concert

The holiday season is upon us and with that brings our Winter Concert. The PES Winter Concert will be held on Thursday, December 5th, 2024. While this event is not a requirement, we certainly hope you and your child(ren) will join us! To accommodate our larger community, the concert will be in two segments this year. Kindergarten, first, and second grade will start their half of the program at 5:30 PM and we kindly ask that they show up fifteen minutes early (5:15 PM) to get into places. Third and fourth grade will then start the second half of the program at 6:30 PM and should also arrive fifteen minutes beforehand (6:15 PM) to get into places. When students arrive they should go straight to the cafeteria to find their class, and families may go to the gymnasium and take a seat. Students have been working hard to practice their concert songs and look forward to sharing them with you! Concert Dress:

Students are asked to dress nicely and appropriately. No graphic t-shirts, clothes with writing on them, or sweatpants. Black and white is traditional, although students are encouraged to add in festive colors!

Girls on the Run

PES is looking for volunteers to coach our Spring 2025 Girls on the Run program! Practices are after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in late March, with a celebratory 5K on May 31st. If you are interested in being a coach, please email Mrs. Obuchowski at kobuchowski@conval.edu.
