Fun Fair Success: A Huge Thank You!
We are absolutely thrilled to report that our annual Fun Fair was a rousing success! This event truly showcases the strength and spirit of our school community, and we owe it all to you.
A heartfelt thank you to every single parent, student, and staff volunteer who gave their time and energy. From those who enthusiastically manned booths and stations to the generous bakers who contributed delicious items to our bake sale, your dedication made the campus buzz with fun.
It was wonderful to see so many happy faces—everyone went home with full bellies and tuckered out from playing the games.
We're especially grateful for the outstanding organizational efforts and leadership of 1st grade teacher Thalia Stark and our PCNC Dolly Bahn. Their hard work ensured the entire day ran seamlessly from start to finish.
The proceeds from the Fun Fair will now go directly to support our grade levels and specialized programs, making a real difference in the students' educational experience. Thank you again for your incredible support!
Important Schedule Change for October Release Time
Please take careful note of an important change to our early release schedule for the week of October 20th. We have swapped the early release times for Wednesday, October 22nd and Friday, October 24th.
This adjustment was discussed and officially approved by the Waikiki School Community Council (SCC) to allow for the necessary setup and staging of our annual Haunted House Event on the 24th.
The NEW Early Release Schedule is as follows:
Date Day Event/Reason New Release Time October 22 Wednesday Standard Release Time 2:15 PM October 24 Friday Haunted House Event Prep 1:30 PM
Please update your calendars and make all necessary after-school care and transportation arrangements for these changes, especially the much earlier 1:30 PM dismissal on Friday, October 24th.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to make the Haunted House event a fun and successful experience for our students!
Picture Retakes on October 15
For families looking to have their child retake their school photo, picture retake day is October 15, 2025. Picture order forms are located in the front office.
Given that October 22 is also "Wacky Wednesday" as a part of spirit week, find ways to incorporate both orange and expressing yourself in a wacky and mindful way.
