YMCA After-School Care Sign-Up

The September TIMA Governing Board Meeting has been moved to Monday, September 14, 2026 at TIMA. All are invited to attend.

Designed for girls in K–8th grade who are new to lacrosse or want to strengthen their fundamentals. Players will work on stick skills, passing and catching, shooting, dodging, defensive footwork, small-sided games, and—most importantly—building confidence in a fun and encouraging environment.

For girls ready to take their game into a more competitive setting, our tournament teams provide opportunities to train, compete, and gain valuable tournament experience while continuing to develop as players and teammates.

Athletes will meet in an assigned area at dismissal and walk together to the Tybee YMCA. Parent pick up from Tybee YMCA.

Equipment Needed: change of comfortable clothes and sneakers.

Please fill out be sure you have filled out the Athletics Interest form so we can get an accurate count.

*All athletes MUST be in 6th-8th grade and have a current physical on file to participate.

If the number of participants exceeds the maximum team number allowed by the league, cuts will be made. Parents and athletes will be notified via email of results by Friday evening. For those who are placed on the team, practices will begin Monday 9/21 and will occur Monday-Thursday after school until 5:30pm.

Our goal is to provide every teacher with one duty-free lunch each week—and we need your help to make it happen!

As a lunch volunteer, you’ll help students move through the lunch line, open lunch items, supervise students, tidy up between lunches, and occasionally tackle a spill or two. Most importantly, your time gives a TIMA teacher a chance to enjoy a well-deserved break during the school day.

All TIMA Families will now need a Parent Access account to view grades, attendance and report cards. This is also an opportunity to verify that your contact information is correct and up to date in an effort to insure that you are receiving all important communications coming from TIMA. As the bulk of our school communication is done via email, please be sure to update and include current email addresses.

Please note that any changes made to home addresses will have to be verified with proof of that address.

We love seeing volunteers on campus! Volunteers must first be cleared through the VISTA background check process and have completed the required Praesidium training. Please complete the simple registration and application process . The system also enables us to track volunteer hours. Tracking volunteers is important to TIMA's grant initiatives. Please help us by ensuring you are tracking your volunteer hours
