Classroom Guidance

Classroom guidance starts in September! This month we'll revisit what my role as the school counselor is and where to find me! Kinder-2nd grade will talk about small problems versus big problems and who/how to ask for help. We will read "The Rabbit Listened". 3rd-5th grade will review the importance of being a good listener and will do a fun drawing activity where they have to put their listening skills to the test! Please reach out if you have any questions. 🙂

The Positivity Project (P2) The Positivity Project (P2)

Through the Positivity Project, students learn about a variety character strengths that make each of us unique. P2 reinforces the understanding that other people matter and encourages them to use their strengths to make a positive difference at school, at home, and in their community! Teachers typically facilitate these quick lessons and activities during morning meeting time at least three times a week.
