Parent /Teacher Conferences
Coble Coyote Families,
It is always our desire to partner with our families for the betterment of the Coble Coyote community. Therefore, the district has set aside some time for teacher and parents to meet beyond regular school hours to discuss the progress of our scholars. This year, we have set aside the following times for you and our teachers to meet and hold student conferences:
- Wednesday, October 9, 2024 (4:30 pm until 8:00 pm)
- Monday, October 14, 2024 (7:30 am to 11:30 am)
The teachers of your scholar will be contacting you soon to send out information and scheduling links for you to meet with them. Though, please do not hesitate to schedule a time with that teacher if needed. You can always email them to set up these meetings as well (firstnamelastname@misdmail.org). You can also check our website for teacher contact information.
We were extremely pleased with our parent turnout for Meet the Teacher night last month. The positive collaboration between our teachers and our parents has definitely shown in the academic progress and behaviors for most of our students first six weeks. Let keep that momentum going. Please schedule a time to meet with you child's teacher as soon as possible. Do not wait because these time slots fill up pretty fast. The average conference normally lasts approximately 10 to 20 minutes each.
We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday night (10/9/24) or early Monday morning (10/14/24). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's teacher for more information. Thank you again for partnering with us to assist your scholar as they matriculate through James Coble Middle School.

Transportation Information
The Transportation Department is getting Smart Tag ready for implementation for the new school year. Our goal is to have special needs and elementary students online before the end of this school year. All parents of Pre-K, kindergarten, and first graders must be registered in the Smart Tag parent app, and each student must have a bus tag to scan into the school bus. Smart tags will be passed out to Coble Students this week and be available on regular routes. All riders will be expected to have a Smart Tag badge to scan on and off their school bus.
